Our cat, Rambo, is a new patient of this vet clinic. We went today for an initial check up and treatment and could not have been more impressed with the service. Rambo usually hates vets but was so calm around everyone there. This is an excellent, thorough and caring veterinary clinic. We feel lucky to have found them for Rambo.

Been going here for years. Good vets and staff but recent experience means going to 2 stars and unlikely to return. Responding to your request for more information. I escalated my complaint about your very rude secretary / receptionist at the front desk in South Woodford all the way up to the area manager and then the MD who basically just shielded her. I’ve now reduced your rating to 1* because you just send standard responses too all bad feedback. To all the 5* feedback I was also happy with this group. Try having a real problem though and see where that gets you. A company’s real test is how they fix problems and their culture. This place … not good. Editing following response: One of the benefits of platforms like Google Reviews is that they help highlight poor service and hold businesses to account. I hope this encourages you to reflect and improve, so that others don’t have the same experience I did. We’ve since moved to a new clinic where the service has been far more professional. It feels like your practice has come to rely on being located in an affluent area, assuming people will simply pay high fees regardless of the standard of service. That approach is increasingly out of step with what people come to expect. We didn't have a nice experience and expected to be treated much better.

I have been with Goddard at another practice for 5 years and was directed here to get fit to fly certificates for my 2 dogs. We also had rabies vaccines and for our Frenchie a BOAS assessment Adam the vet and Thomas the nurse were exceptional. We were given wrong info by our travel company but both Adam and Thomas went over and above to ensure our dogs and us did not have problems. I can not recommend this branch enough. They are the best I have dealt with.

Today I brought my dog Carlos in for a follow-up eye appointment. He usually gets anxious during vet visits, so I tend to wait outside. This time, I stayed in the room—and I’m really glad I did. The team handled him with such calm and care, speaking to him throughout and making sure he felt safe and comfortable. It was clear they knew how to put animals at ease, and it honestly reassured me as much as it did him. Thank you again—this kind of approach makes a big difference.

I have been coming here for 3 years (Walthamstow Goddard) and cannot recommend the practice enough. The staff are so friendly & kind making it a welcome place for you and your furry friends. My British shorthair, as sweet as he is can have a temperament when coming to the vets and all of them are so gentle and patient. Any queries or problems they are quick to resolve. A major shoutout to Ahmed who we adore!!! He is the most bubbliest, positive & professional staff member who always makes our visit a positive one. Very attentive with making an active effort to remember all pets names and their owners. It’s always a pleasure to see him as you’ll be sure to leave with a smile. Thank you Goddard & Ahmed for making our journey to the vets that little bit less daunting. It makes the biggest difference. We appreciate you all from myself, Cairo & Mocha.
