Confusing - disconnected - bad timing - delay - Have a mixed experience of Hone Vets London. Waited over & days for a home visit follow up _ which lasted 30 minutes -
Initial booking was easy First consultation prompt and offered quick diagnosis of our pet dogs illness - treatment plan started,
Remote support was well found at the beginning
* Then due to Dr Cesar being out of the country we waited over 8 days for a follow up consultation - we had been sending updates on email and attaching videos our pet dog seemed to be more unwell.
vet Jose eventually came out and spent a brief visit no more than 30 minutes making a suggestion we refer to a vet clinic ! it was the day before Jubilee holiday and we expressed concerns about vet emergency clinics and the stress it would do to our pet as he already had breathing problems associated to hes illness.
Vet Jose dint have any meds with him nor offered to return with the injectable option at any time, ultimately we ended up in a vet clinic suggested by home vets london, after a car journey with our dog nearly passing away, the vet clinic made an error with the appointment which all they could give was an injection - no blood tests ?
During this time frame I reached out to Dr Cesar via emails and received a reply ' stop using on us we are a small business " - after a few more emails where I reminded we waited 7 day for support and passing us on now was not helpful. Dr Cesar then referred me to a emergency vets called veteris, they booked an appointment and they then cancelled after the cr broke down, our pet dog battled away for 3 days during the bank holiday break with no offer again from Home vets to come and check him due to the feeling that Vet Jose was not offering best support Dr Cesar suggested we take out pet another vet, bearing in mind it was bank holiday most vet clinics closed, quite a few not taking on new pets we were abandoned. No offer of a home visit - Dr Cesar explained they have limited resources and we should have gone to a clinic - my problem is the initial wait has lead to a delay and we collided with bank holiday and our now very sick pet being hospitalised - he sadly passed away less than 24 hours being in a stressful vet clinic / hospital,
In summary - this business needs to be clearer to clients on booking and even remotely if they feel they cannot support the pets needs they should direct / refer sooner and stills the Primary vet keep a eye on the pet.
Not once referred off leave the owner and pet in a very grey area.

SO HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! We truly couldn't have asked for a better experience with Home Vets London. Nuria (who I'm guessing is the office manager) has been amazing from our initial enquiry until this morning when the vet arrived. She has been professional and prompt yet still managed to alleviate our fears with her fantastic, caring nature. And when Dr Jose came this morning, we KNEW we had made the right choice for our little (quite elderly... 19 years) cat. He talked everything through with us, and Marilyn was so enamoured with him even before her sedation. So professional but also really personable. I wish I'd found this service years ago. And for those worrying about cost for such a personal service... it works out more or less the same if you took your pet to a vetinary surgery and with so much less stress for your little furbaby.
This excellent service has reduced the stress of vet visits for both my cat and me. Dr Jose was so good with my elderly cat. So pleased.
Completely and utterly USELESS. Called them on a Saturday evening before 11pm about an emergency with my cat. They brand themselves as being all about emergencies and yet took TWO HOURS later I had no feedback, no calls, NOTHING. I had to call them back myself for a status update only to hear that their vet was still on another case and they were completely unable to give me an ETA. Totally unprofessional. Avoid this company at all costs if your pet is in trouble!
Home Vets London came to the rescue when I needed a last minute Animal Health Certificate to relocate from UK to EU because my regular vet informed me that they weren't going to be able to do it.
Nuria was the first person I got in contact with and she was extremely kind, friendly, and always answered my questions in a timely manner throughout the entire process.
Dr. Jose was the one to physically come to our house and not only was he also extremely kind, but my dogs absolutely loved him (and they usually are petrified of vets). He got on the floor to play with my dogs and gain their trust before doing any work.
Dr. Cesar became like a friend throughout the entire process. I had a different case because my rabies and all my documentation came from the USA originally; however, there was an issue with the paperwork from the original USA vet. Dr. Cesar worked with me even during the weekend to help get this issue resolved with my original vet in order for my dogs to be able to travel. I was such a nervous wreck but Dr. Cesar did everything in his power and thanks to him and his team we are all now in the EU in our new home.
I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this team. They were amazing from the very first email all the way to the follow up from them to make sure we got to our new home safely.
I only wish I had met them when we first arrived in London as I would have loved for them to have been our vet from the very beginning.

Amazing service!! Best vet I ever came across. My little dog Pipo got a thorn stuck in his inner ear. He had been shaking and scratching his head for a couple of days. Cesar came to my place and extracted it very carefully. Pipo did not even notice it. He is now a happy dog again. Thanks Homevets.
When we first heard that our vet was called Cesar, we had a few laughs about whether he would be as good as Caesar Milan, the famous Dog Whisperer. Let me just tell you that he was even better!
Phoned on Monday morning and got a Tuesday appointment for our poorly lurcher that fitted in perfectly with our own busy timetable.
Cesar arrived ahead of time, well stocked with his kit, and was incredibly personable from the start. Our lurcher is elderly and nervous and though he has never shown any aggression to others I did ask Cesar to bring a muzzle as our dog was tender on palpation (we suspected a pulled muscle). True to his word, Cesar brought a selection of muzzles and took his time accustoming our dog to the feel of it before the exam proper even began. There was a lot of love and tenderness in the exam, with plenty of head strokes and reassuring words so that our lovely dog felt completely relaxed in his hands. We even got a free ear clean thrown in (our bad!) The diagnosis was a sprained elbow for which we were given an injection and follow up medicine plus a comprehensive drugs/rehab regime to follow.
We never felt rushed as we sometimes do at our (albeit excellent) regular vet, and being in familiar surroundings made this a much better experience all-round for our dog.
The price, we felt, was really reasonable, and although we were offered supplements to assist with future joint care, we were in no way pressured to purchase them. In addition, Cesar examined the supplements I had purchased independently prior to his visit to make sure we were administering them correctly (we were!).
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cesar to anyone who loves their pet and for whom a commute to the vet's surgery is difficult. Obviously, if there's something requiring more extensive examination (X-rays, MRI's, surgery) you'll have to go elsewhere, but otherwise do give them a try. So delighted with the help we got.
